We take our bees to Florida for the winter and this is where our bees collect the nectar of the Palmetto bush.  Palmetto is a small palm bush that grows in the forest of Florida.  It blooms in the month of May by sending up a shoot of small yellow flowers.  It makes a wonderful smooth and buttery honey.
